There is “no question” that Arrested Development has a future on Netflix, according to a company executive who said it’s just a matter of working out the logistics. Ted Sarandos, chief content officer for Netflix, said there will either be more episodes of the quirky comedy or a movie.

  5. thebluthcompany(.)tumblr(.)com/post/62016426557 hi, wasn't it "from army" tho? i really love your site!

Hi! Yes, the original quote is “These are my awards, Mother. From army” but I changed it to “From Emmy” because that night Tony Hale (Buster) won an Emmy for his role in Veep. I thought we were being clever, but apparently some people thought I misheard what he said :/

    Thank you!

  7. Mitch Hurwitz: 'Arrested Development movie is getting close'

Mitch Hurwitz is adamant a proposed movie version of the sitcom is inching closer to reality. The project, which will reunite the entire team on screen, has been in the pipeline for some time but now Hurwitz is working on a script and is convinced studio bosses will be “really eager” to shoot the film. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, “I think it would be very doable to get them together for four or five weeks to make a movie… I’m working on the movie right now. I can’t get into much more detail because I don’t want to scare anybody off. “I don’t want to be presumptuous about it. I don’t own the property outright - it’s a 20th Century Fox property. But everybody seems really into it and really eager to make a movie.”
